Council is supporting small businesses in bay. Fact or Fiction? Well…

98% Bay Business SMEs without voice or champion in council hearing, understanding, helping. I would give ‘Reverse the flow parking plan’, ‘Procurement Scheme’, ‘Financially Support TRTBID’, & introduce ‘Partnership on Council decisions’.

Businesses account for around 75% of total employment in the bay. The majority small to medium size working hard, aiming to make a living, investing all they have INTO THEIR businesses; good for them and for us. I KNOW – I AM DOING JUST THAT FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.

But have we, as a council, been pro-business or ANTI?

I BELIEVE WE ARE the engine room of our economy and with so many employed within you can understand why.

But there are many issues raised by business where they have cried out for help, WITH DECISIONS that dramatically affects their livelihoods.

Articles on areas WHERE WE SHOW we have a negative attitude to business, which needs and must change, WILL FOLLOW such as.

‘Reverse the flow parking plan’, ‘Procurement Scheme’, ‘Financially Support TRTBID’, & introduce ‘Partnership on Council decisions’.

For it is SOLUTIONS that we need that will make for a Better Torbay.
